Mental Medicine
Everyone would benefit from taking medicine daily in large doses—that is, spiritual medicine. Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, writes, "A Christian Scientist's medicine is Mind, the divine Truth that makes man free." Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 453;
Mind, God, creates the real, spiritual universe and man. Healing ideas continually come to human consciousness from this Mind. These spiritual ideas reveal the perfection of the spiritual universe and man's eternal likeness to his divine source.
Also, they enable one to see through the illusion of matter, which is the subjective state of a false sense of consciousness, called mortal mind. The recognition that Spirit is infinite and the only substance shows matter to be a nonentity and its seeming conditions misconceptions of reality. The logical conclusion is that there is no sin, disease, or death in the divine Mind, the only Mind of man. This realization of Truth is a spiritual remedy.
