I would like to express my gratitude for a healing I had last winter.

It was a very cold day, and I had gone on an all-day Boy Scout trip and forgotten my gloves. During the events of the day my hands got quite cold and stiff. When I got home, I ran up and opened the garage door, and as I closed the door my finger got caught in one of the hinges. I had to reopen the garage door to free my finger, and when I did, I noticed that it was badly smashed. I ran upstairs and my mother and I tried to stop the bleeding while constantly declaring the truth of man's unbroken relationship with God, who holds man perfect.

Apparently we needed to handle the fear, for neither the pain nor the bleeding stopped, so we called a Christian Science practitioner. As she and I were talking, the bleeding and pain stopped. She told me to remember that the children of God cannot be harmed by accidents. I was able to continue with my daily activities as I normally would, and after about two weeks of holding to the truth, there was no trace of any accident ever having happened.
