Coping with Suicide Urges

"I'm so dumb." "I just can't." "I have definite limitations." "College [or this job] isn't for me. I don't have what it takes." "If I were pretty [or handsome], I'd have lots of dates."

Accepting beliefs like these about ourselves presents an identity problem—but one that can be solved through understanding true being in the light of Christian Science.

Your real identity—now and constantly—is the individual, spiritual image and likeness of God. It's your own distinct and perfect expression of God, who is infinite Love, or Spirit. It's your conscious reflection of divine completeness, goodness, intelligence, harmony.
