I have witnessed so many healings—physical and mental—through the application of the teachings of Christian Science—as well as having financial problems solved—that I am almost embarrassed that I've submitted only one previous testimony for publication.
While in college, when taking a shower, I broke a porcelain shower handle and stepped heavily on the broken piece, badly cutting my foot. I bandaged it up as best I could and called a Christian Science practitioner for an appointment. We prayed together and I felt a sense of peace and of the supremacy of God governing my affairs. In spite of the spiritual sense of well-being, I still hobbled away with the lameness I had when entering.
While about half a block away I noted the bus I needed approaching on another street. Without a moment's thought I ran the distance, forgetting the injured foot and with no ill effects. A complete healing promptly ensued.
