Give a Good Time
Once when a young girl was leaving for a party and everyone was calling out to her, "Have a good time," another member of the family wisely and kindly said to her, "Give a good time."
Now this young person had always been self-conscious, unable to mix easily with others, and this unusual advice brought her up short. "Give a good time? What could that mean?" she wondered.
She had just begun the study of Christian Science and her growing familiarity with the Bible made her think of Christ Jesus' saying, "It is more blessed to give than to receive." Acts 20:35;
