God's Work Is Done
We do not have to be at the mercy of any difficult situation. In the reality of being, God's universe is complete. As we understand man's oneness and divine completeness in God, the human footsteps that contribute to harmony can be taken under His guidance, and we can keep our peace and joy.
Christian Science is based on the spiritual facts of being. They are not elusive and material but eternal and indestructible. The Science of the Christ underlies all that is true of man, whose perfect origin and creation as God's likeness are recorded in the first chapter of Genesis. We read there also that God finished the heavens and the earth and gave man dominion over all the earth. This dominion has never, in actuality, been taken away, for there has never been an instant when the divine completeness has ever been interrupted.
These great facts of being are not supported by material sense, which sees incompleteness and disruption everywhere. Why? Because material evidence is based on the false beliefs of mortal mind. Material belief suggests the existence of another man, the mistaken sense of man called Adam, the counterfeit of God's man. It is from these false beliefs that the troubles, or errors, of the world seem to have originated.
