Through the years Christian Science has been a constant help. Our family has been blessed with many demonstrations of the truths found in the Bible and in Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.

One day a few years ago I found I could not walk. Although I promptly turned to prayer in Christian Science, I seemed to get worse, and for months was bedridden and often in pain. However, I felt very close to God and never doubted that I would be healed. Therefore I remained joyous and grateful, even during moments of frustration.

Mrs. Eddy says in Science and Health (p. 469), "The exterminator of error is the great truth that God, good, is the only Mind, and that the supposititious opposite of infinite Mind—called devil or evil—is not Mind, is not Truth, but error, without intelligence or reality"; and (p. 419), "Mind produces all action."
