The Universal Christ: Active and Directive

To be lost in a maze of difficulties but at least to know there's an exit can be tremendously steadying—even when the right moves have not yet become clear. Christian Science shows there is a course to follow out of trouble zones, and there is no one to whom direction Is not available. The healing truth of God, the active Christ, shows the way.

The Christ is divine Truth, the spiritual idea of God, revealing the true identity of each of us and informing us of what is actual. It is the beam of Truth that so throws reality into high relief in the receptive thought that beauty replaces ugliness, confidence uncertainty, and health illness. The Christ is the manifestation of Love adjusting and curing all that seems wrong.

Because the Christ is the emanation of Mind, it quickens our intelligence when we welcome it. By opening up to us our real self it prompts us to do better, and shows how we can. Divine Love, expressing itself through the Christ, points the way should we stumble and make mistakes. The Christ, Spirit's unfoldment of itself, reinforces our efforts to reform, establishes our security. It empowers us to demonstrate Mind's government when things seem out of control, whether our relationships, the economy, or our national direction.
