From Fear to Trust
The Bible urges us to trust God whenever we are afraid. Christian Science provides a reliable method for changing over from instinctive human fear to divinely inspired trust.
This religion reveals that fear, like all other evils, doesn't belong to us. It is no part of our real, God-given nature. Though it may seem to have evolved as a built-in survival factor in the animal kingdom (as a materialistic view of the universe suggests), fear is no part of the real spiritual universe and the real man, the likeness of God, Love. When we understand these spiritual facts, we see that fear is a handicap we can learn to discard.
Christian Science logically explains, on the basis of biblical revelation, that only what God gives us belongs to us; and that He, being wholly wise, good, and loving Spirit, gives us His own good, spiritual qualities. These are embodied forever in our true identity.
