Mrs. Eddy tells us in the Manual of The Mother Church (Art. VIII, Sect. 24): "Testimony in regard to the healing of the sick is highly important. More than a mere rehearsal of blessings, it scales the pinnacle of praise and illustrates the demonstration of Christ, 'who healeth all thy diseases' (Psalm 103:3)."

This testimony is given with heartfelt gratitude to God for our Way-shower, Christ Jesus, who taught that the healing Christ, Truth, can be demonstrated by everyone in every age, and for Jesus' faithful follower, Mrs. Eddy, who gave us Science and Health and her other writings.

At one time I suffered the symptoms of a heart attack. Through the faithful work of a Christian Science practitioner, to whom I turned for help, I was quickly healed, and I returned to my place of business within a few days. Her sense of love, buoyancy, and understanding of Life made the condition so unreal that I was eager to glorify God and be at my post of duty.
