When I came into Christian Science, I was unable to understand much of what I was reading because of lack of education. I was born in Europe, and my education in the English language came through my study of the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. At first my progress was very slow, but with persistence, and love for what I read and understood, I was able to gain a little each day of the wonderful truths this religion teaches.

My first healing was that of chronic constipation of twelve years' standing, for which many material remedies had been used without giving me much relief. I was healed by reading the textbook.

During my years of study I've had many healings, too numerous to list here, but some of them were those of migraine, broken bones and torn ligaments, and a kneecap that went out of place. All were healed through prayerful treatment, some with the help of Christian Science practitioners, others through my own complete confidence and trust in divine Love's presence and loving care for its beloved child.
