Seeing Exams in Perspective
Christian Science enables a student to be free of pressure in exams and to improve his academic abilities. How is this freedom achieved?
If we feel that it is by our own power that we absorb facts and reproduce them to order, adding our own ideas, then of course we are likely to feel under pressure and fear that the brain won't produce the goods on exam day.
But through reason and prayer we can find all-knowing Mind, which is God, our Father, to be present with us. All of us, created as the reflection of God, reflect Mind in every quality. Mrs. Eddy says, "It should be thoroughly understood that all men have one Mind, one God and Father, one Life, Truth, and Love." Science and Health, p. 467; Since all men have one Mind, let us not fearfully compete in exams but work to express Mind and rejoice in others' success as well as our own.
