A soldier makes his own reportAnd calls each hour that all is well,When he patrols a camp or fort.He walks his beat as sentinelTo guard the tents of sleeping menUntil the sun comes up again.

Truth is our trusted sentinel.It keeps a faithful watch for us,Reminding us that all is wellAnd that no place is dangerousSince God is present and His careProtects His children everywhere.
