Christian Science has been an ever-present source of help to me for many years, and I would like to express my gratitude for this. Although I have had many healings through the application of this Science, there are a few that stand out as especially meaningful to me.

One occurred when I was a young boy of about eight or nine. I was playing in a park across the street from my home on what we called "monkey bars." I was hanging by my knees a few feet above the ground when I fell on one elbow, bending the arm behind my back considerably out of its normal position. The pain was intense.

I was taken home, and Christian Science treatment from a practitioner was begun immediately. The elbow became very swollen and turned black. Christian Science treatment continued, and there was gradual improvement. However, at the end of a couple of weeks I still could not move the arm.
