The Way of Happiness
A sparrow came flying to the lawn.
Has it come to look for food
Or has it come to play?
The sun shines gently on
The flowers, grass, and trees,
Fishes and delicious fruits
And little animals.
The moon, the stars, and the dews of night
All express the promise of Love.
[Miss Ogata has done the Japanese calligraphy above, which is a fine art in itself and reads from right to left.]
The creator is One.
I thank You Father-Mother God
For Your love.
I see You've made all things.
You've made all things good.
I love You too.
Therefore I don't need anything else,
I don't want the things of others.
The children of Love who never lie,
Are strong, righteous, and pure,
Are always good,
Embraced by Love.
Their days are full of joy and happiness.
