How Man Is Linked to God
There is a link—an inseparable one—between everyone and eternal Life, God, Soul. What is this link? How can one find it?
What forges the link between mother and child? Is it not love? What forges the link between friends? Is it not love, respect, mutual interests? Children grow to adults and leave the parental roof. Often they maintain little contact with home. Yet many years later, perhaps, under great stress of financial loss, illness, hopelessness, they return home. Is not the link between child and parent one of the strongest expressions of love?
Spiritually considered, the life of man is his unbreakable link with his creator, his link with God, the source of all life and being, for man in reality is God's spiritual idea. This relationship is well worth our seeking and understanding. God is divine Love. The Scriptures so state. Christian Science so teaches.
