Certain TV commercials advertise magical formulas designed to put delight in the heart and bounce in the step. For those who think they can't bear to face another day, they promise energy and enthusiasm. But can these qualities really come from a potion?
Life-giving qualities cannot be put into a bottle or a capsule. According to Christian Science the one real fountain of joy and vitality is God, Life itself. This fountain never runs dry, never becomes exhausted. And divine power and harmony are constantly available for everyone to utilize through consciously reflecting God as His image and likeness, His exact expression.
"God rests in action," writes Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.
