Let's Choose Spirituality
Christian Science is the term employed by its Discoverer and Founder, Mary Baker Eddy, to indicate the Science underlying the healings practiced by Christ Jesus. Every Christian Scientist longs to heal as the Master did, and he knows that he will achieve this goal in proportion as he lets the Christ hold sway in his life.
Christian Science is not a spiritual theory about which one may philosophize. It is trenchant truth which, accepted humbly and wholeheartedly, transforms thinking and living, leaving its imprint of health and harmony on mind and body. It inclines consciousness in one direction only—Godward.
Suppositional evil would seem to be able to pull man away from God by suggesting that heredity, environment, and character operate to produce a muddle of a man, whose consciousness is often a battleground for good and evil.
