In 1923, a friend invited me to visit The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston. I was so impressed with the service that it was my desire to learn more of this beautiful religion. Shortly after this I married and moved to another state.
I was searching for a church to attend regularly. After I had visited churches of several different denominations, the same friend who had taken me to church in Boston asked me if I would like to visit the local branch Church of Christ, Scientist, where we lived. This I was willing to do and soon decided this was the church I wanted. I became a member of this branch church in 1928 after attending for four years.
I have derived many benefits from Christian Science and have depended on it all these years for healing. I have served in our branch church as Second Reader, Sunday School superintendent, Reading Room librarian, and in many other activities. Class instruction in 1940 from an authorized teacher has been a blessing to me.
