Blocks Are for Building

A block can be either an obstruction or something useful. It depends upon one's viewpoint.

Psychology suggests that it is possible to have mental blocks in the learning process. But one can identify himself as the man God created, described in the first chapter of Genesis as the man to whom He gave dominion over all. In this way any blocks he faces can be transformed into opportunities to rise above mortal limitation.

In Christian Science we learn that there is only one Mind—the divine Mind, God—and that man is the active expression of that Mind. Mrs. Eddy assures us, "Mind is not necessarily dependent upon educational processes." Science and Health, p. 89; Further on, she says: "We are all capable of more than we do. The influence or action of Soul confers a freedom, which explains the phenomena of improvisation and the fervor of untutored lips."
