Total Health by God's Decree
God decrees health for each one of us, and His decree is irreversible. The eternal declaration of God, Truth, about you and me in our genuine being is that we are His loved representatives, created to show forth His perfection, including His health, or harmony.
This divine fact, revealed in Christian Science, shows that we do not have to hope for some future rescuing action of God to bring about the healing of our human ills. Our health is really established now. As we prayerfully understand what God, Spirit, has already done for us, His spiritual law of health is demonstrated in human terms as healing.
The impostor, matter, the counterfeit of Spirit, is put in its place by this revolutionary approach to healing. Matter is no longer seen as an inherently discordant substance, which one might say has slipped out of God's control, but as an evil fantasy or mistaken assumption. Thus the illusion of living in a physical body loses credibility. One can perceive that matter actually has no more power to harm us than has the distorted shadow of a man cast on the night mist by a car's headlights.
