Many are the blessings I have had since my mother began the study of Christian Science when I was a very young child. My attendance record at school was excellent, and I experienced practically none of the So–called children's diseases.
Some years ago while I was driving an older model car, a hose connection broke, and the boiling water from the radiator poured into the car. My right leg from ankle to knee was severely burned. No medication was used. The wound was kept clean, and the flesh healed without a scar.
About two years ago I experienced a case of extreme weakness, so much so that I was unable to cook my own meals or wait on myself. I asked a Christian Science practitioner to give me treatment. It seemed necessary either that I have a nurse with me or go to a Christian Science Sanatorium. The practitioner made one phone call, and within a few hours a practical nurse who was a Christian Scientist was with me.
