Sinai (Ps. 68:17)

Biblical reference to Sinai represents the significance of the presentation of the Ten Commandments to Moses on Mount Horeb. The New English Bible translates the verse as follows: "Twice ten thousand were God's chariots, thousands upon thousands, when the Lord came in holiness from Sinai." (See also II Kings 6:16, 17.)

They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed (Ps. 34:5)
