Do People Shake You Up?
People sure shake me up sometimes—that is, they do until I realize that no person can really rob me of my joy. This is what Jesus taught. He said, "Your joy no man taketh from you." John 16:22;
Joy originates in God, divine Love, and is perpetuated in man by divine Love. I remember one time when those words of Jesus really began to get through to me.
A fellow I knew was driving me right up the wall. I reacted badly until I really began to pray over the situation and see how ridiculous it was to let anyone take my joy from me. Who could ever really rob me of a spiritual quality? Soon I was on my way to resolving that particular "people problem."
