I am twelve years old and am very grateful for Christian Science

I am twelve years old and am very grateful for Christian Science. I would like to tell about what I think was a very good healing.

One day while riding home from school, I had an accident with my bike. My friend helped me to get home. My bike was in bad shape, and I couldn't remember what had happened to me. My arm was hanging loose, and my wrist seemed to be broken. My parents and I started to pray right away, knowing the truth that there are no accidents because God would not let any of His creation be hurt.

A few months before this my Sunday School teacher had us memorize a paragraph from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. Part of it is (p. 495): "When the illusion of sickness or sin tempts you, cling steadfastly to God and His idea. Allow nothing but His likeness to abide in your thought. Let neither fear nor doubt overshadow your clear sense and calm trust, that the recognition of life harmonious—as Life eternally is—can destroy any painful sense of, or belief in, that which Life is not." I could remember this, and I worked with these truths. I also read some children's articles in the Sentinel that helped me to know this truth better.
