WHAT HAS THE CHRISTIAN SCIENCE SUNDAY SCHOOL MEANT TO YOU?

The thing that meant the most to me about Sunday School was one or two teachers who really loved me. It's a really little thing, but it made an awfully big difference.

Gail Russell -Melrose, Massachusetts

I'm a junior in high school, the only active Christian Scientist there. Sunday School has been a guide to me. In several classes I felt that we were all united and could talk to each other frankly. There needs to be a unifying factor among Sunday School students. Sometimes students drop out because they are forced to attend. And I think the teacher has a great effect on the class. The problem comes when the teacher is on one wavelength and the student on another. The teacher has to act more like an equal member of the class. We need to feel humility together. Also, the students can spoil a class. Sometimes they intentionally try to heckle the teacher. But I think that all students should strive to understand the teacher and be more helpful to him.
