RANSOM
Some tricky errors fenced me in—
errors of sickness, errors of sin.
They were kidnappers, dark and handsome,
who, thinking themselves smart,
and knowing my Father rich,
demanded my heart.
My Father, very wise,
considered no such ransom—
refused to compromise!
Then His dear love revealed
the entire plot
a dream within the scheme
of what is not,
and I awakened—healed!
