After more than fifty years of proving the efficacy of Christian Science, which Mrs. Eddy has revealed to the world, I wish to share my gratitude with others.

My first testimony appeared in the Sentinel of March 18, 1939, and since that time blessings have continued to come not only to me but to my family.

One healing took place following the birth of our younger son. When the child was born, his foot was twisted in such a way that it grew up the back of his leg. I was quite new in my study of Christian Science, but I realized that this situation must be healed quietly without others knowing the need. Therefore, only the Christian Science nurse and the physician, who felt very kindly toward Christian Science, and I knew of the condition, so the baby was protected from others' fears. We lived where the weather was cold and babies were kept warm with long dresses and blankets. I cannot speak for the nurse, because she was with me only six days; but I feel that she too was knowing the perfection of God's child. In a very short time the foot had turned to its right position, and by the time the child was ready to stand on his feet there was no sign of anything out of place. As the years have passed, I have seen how I was guided and protected while this healing was going on.
