Christian Science came into my life in 1929 when I was healed of influenza. My case had been medically diagnosed as quite serious. Nevertheless, through study of the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and the help of a consecrated Christian Science practitioner, the healing came in just a little more than one week.

Although I had been with one company since 1918, I was unable to obtain medical clearance to return to work in my business for a considerable time, even though my healing was in all respects complete. Nevertheless, during this period through Christian Science supply was demonstrated for my family, education for my children, and the liquidation of the mortgage on our home. During this time, also, my family and I enjoyed increasing freedom from illnesses.

After a lapse of time I was permitted to rejoin my old company and resume my chosen line of work. And I am still gainfully engaged in this work with the same company.
