It is with deep gratitude for Christian Science...
It is with deep gratitude for Christian Science and for the good that it has brought into my life that I write this testimony.
Prior to becoming a student of Christian Science, I suffered from various physical problems and from lack and limitation, which resulted in my feeling general dissatisfaction with life. From the time I began to read the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, the situation changed, and a wonderful light dawned on my thought. I was convinced that I had found the truth of being, and that further study would help me to understand God and thereby prove His power over the ills besetting me.
Since that spiritual awakening, despondency has given place to expectancy of good, and in proportion as I have put into practice what I am learning through daily study of the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, I have been able to prove the truth of the prophecy in Isaiah (12:3): "Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation."
