Christian Science has enabled me to know God's guidance and has transformed my life. I would like to tell of two healings I have experienced in recent years.

One day a few years ago I discovered that a growth had formed on my neck in a very noticeable place. At first I did not pay any attention to it, for it was not painful. While dressing, washing, fixing my hair, I would make some effort to deny it, but as the years passed, the condition became larger and began to be troublesome and painful.

Now I began to pray to overcome this problem. I read and studied with the Concordance many passages from Mrs. Eddy's writings that would apply to my case. I simply devoured all the testimonies in the Christian Science periodicals I could get hold of, especially the testimonies that told of such healings. I often copied portions of them for myself in order to have on hand at all times the lines of thought of those healed. But I had no apparent success. On the contrary, the condition became so much more serious that I became fearful and asked a Christian Science practitioner for help to support me in my prayerful metaphysical work.
