Trustworthiness in the Home
How simple it would be if bringing children up rightly were only a matter of strong discipline as opposed to permissiveness! But one does not need to look far to find families where enforced righteous living was the rule but the youngsters have strayed. Ask one of the youngsters why he strayed, and he replies that he is seeking something the home does not offer.
"But," say the parents, "we've given him everything!"
Children don't want everything. Perhaps they do not know how to describe what they want, but it is something fundamental. If they could feel what God is doing in their lives, they would know. Why haven't they felt it?
