Over a period of many years I have been most grateful for the teachings of Christian Science.
An outstanding example of guidance occurred some years ago. I had been teaching in college and had been assured that my teaching was satisfactory and my tenure secure. Suddenly six of the faculty, including myself, were informed that our contracts would not be renewed.
There was much resentment among members of the college community, but I was able to put myself in God's care and trust in Him, knowing that "no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly," as the Bible teaches (Ps. 84:11).
