Christ Jesus said, "Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God" (Matt. 5:8).

After seriously taking up the study of Christian Science almost twenty-one years ago, I found that the above beatitude caused me much discouragement. I thought I would never see God because of lack of purity. However, the beatitude "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled" (Matt. 5:6) would always come to mind and comfort me. Truly in the intervening years I have been filled, as well as continually purified, and I am seeing more of God everywhere.

I will never cease to be grateful that in our household every member applies Christian Science in all situations in the home, as well as in the business world, and we are daily proving its efficacy. I am grateful for the Christian Science Sunday School, which helps so much in the training of our children. Truly it is a perfect supplement and complement to home training.
