To Do God's Will
A woman who was having grave problems went to see a Christian Science practitioner. She told of all the grievous errors in her home and affairs and ended by saying that if thus and thus would just take place all would be well.
The practitioner asked quickly, "If God would just sign on the dotted line?" Then she went on, "When we take a problem to God, most of us are prone to have a solution all set up that seems just right. If God does not bless this plan we say, 'All right, God, if You don't like this plan I have another that I'm sure You'll bless.' But finally we have to let go all human outlining and really be willing to let God's will be done. God, divine Love, will reveal to us His perfect plan according to His holy purpose, to bring out in new ways His intelligent design."
This proved to be true with the woman. As she studied to understand God better and earnestly strove to listen to and follow His guidance, she was led to a solution of the problem that blessed many besides herself.
