I would like to share with you an experience I had about one year ago. I am eleven years old, and I have been going to a Christian Science Sunday School since I was three years of age.

I had been wearing glasses ever since I was in the first grade, and last year I learned that God is my guidance and not the eye doctor. One day when I came home from school, my mother said, "Take off your glasses and read about eyes on page 586 in Science and Health."

So I read what Mrs. Eddy states: "Eyes. Spiritual discernment,—not material but mental." And I found it quite easy to read. Then I realized that God made me perfect and that I was just using the glasses as a crutch.
