Supply That Meets Rising Costs

When prices rise and human resources appear to dwindle, it is time to increase one's understanding of God and His infinite spiritual supply. No human being should feel and tolerate the pinch of lack. Rather should all experience and enjoy in increasing measure the affluence promised in the Bible to every child of God through divine law.

A fundamental teaching of Christianity is that God, the Father, provides His offspring with all that they need for happiness and satisfying development. Paul declared, "My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."^{Phil. 4:19;}

And what are these rich supplies provided by God? They are not stocks and bonds, silver coins or dollar bills, or any other material objects, for God is divine Spirit, and material objects do not proceed from a spiritual source. God gives us spiritual qualities of thought —qualities that include joy, comfort, purity, health, and energy. They are ideas of goodness and love, which nourish, shelter, educate, satisfy, and promote orderly growth and progress, happiness, and usefulness.
