Having received so much good from the testimonies of others in Christian Science, I wish to express my gratitude publicly for the many blessings the study of Christian Science has brought into my life. I became interested in Christian Science in 1916, and since that time Christian Science has been my only physician, guide, and counselor.

My first healing was that of severe headaches from which I had suffered since childhood. I was completely and permanently healed while studying the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. A statement in the textbook which helped me very much is, "Divine Science is absolute, and permits no half-way position in learning its Principle and rule—establishing it by demonstration" (p. 274).

Another healing was that of indigestion, which I believed to be inherited. I was healed through the correct application of Christian Science. In the Bible we read (Ezek. 18:2, 3): "What mean ye, that ye use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge? As I live, saith the Lord God, ye shall not have occasion any more to use this proverb in Israel." Also from Science and Health (pp. 412, 413): "The Scientist knows that there can be no hereditary disease, since matter is not intelligent and cannot transmit good or evil intelligence to man, and God, the only Mind, does not produce pain in matter."
