The words in this issue are related to the Lesson-Sermon in the CHRISTIAN SCIENCE QUARTERLY designated to be read in Christian Science churches on August 9, 1970.

The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free (Rom. 8:2)

Some important and early Greek manuscripts have the word se (you) in place of me (me). Hence The Twentieth Century New Testament prefers, "Through your union with Christ Jesus, the Law of the life-giving Spirit has set you free."
