The Place That Belongs to Man
Where is your right place? Can it be separated from your identity? Does another person have power to take it from you, to keep you out of it, or to put you in the wrong place? The teachings of Christian Science answer all these questions according to a divine law of harmony that we can understand and demonstrate in our experience.
Let us begin our reasoning from the standpoint Christian Science always uses—that God is omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient, omniactive Spirit, and that this infinite God has created man as His complete and perfect expression. In the textbook, Science and Health, Mrs. Eddy includes the following statement in her answer to the question, "What is man?" "He is the compound idea of God, including all right ideas." Science and Health, p. 475
When we realize that God is Mind and that the creation of Mind must be as purely mental and spiritual as its creator, we drop the sense of man and the universe as being material.
