As a young adult I attended a protestant church regularly but did not find satisfaction. The concept of God and the interpretation of the creation of man left me puzzled and unable to make use of my religion in my daily life. I was plagued with innumerable problems and unable to solve them.
Later on, the breaking up of an unhappy marriage left me suffering from anxiety and depression, and my financial needs were urgent. At this point I reached out to God for help, and within a very short time Christian Science was quite unexpectedly introduced to me by a friend.
I accepted Christian Science as the truth and was able to put it into practice, although feebly at first. Through my continued study of Science a job opportunity was presented to me that supplied my needs financially and gave me much-needed experience in the business world.
