My life has been filled with joy since learning the truth of God and man through Christian Science. I would like to testify to a beautiful healing I had when this truth was revealed to me.

Before Christian Science was brought to me, I was having much difficulty with what doctors called crippling arthritis, which was very painful. A very dear friend came to see me when I was in this painful condition, unable to walk or move. He presented me a copy of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy and told me to read it. It took me a long time to understand it because of my language barrier and childhood religious training. However, I saw the sun shining a little brighter each day, and the more I studied, the better I felt. There are no words to express the joy and gratitude I got from Christian Science.

Through perseverance and the help of my friend, who daily read the Christian Science Quarterly Lesson-Sermon with me, helping me to understand it, the doors of heaven were opened to me. I was healed of the arthritis. For the first time in years I was able to raise my arms above my head and clasp my hands together. How grateful I was! I learned how to mark my Bible and Science and Health and to study the lesson alone each day.
