The Star May 23, 1968
First Church of Christ, Scientist, Clinton, will be dedicated on Sunday, May 26, at the morning service at 11 a.m. and at a special service at 3:30 p.m....
In the spring of 1948, a small group of Christian Scientists, living within a ten-mile radius of Clinton, decided to hold Sunday services in the homes of its members. The first service was held on the last Sunday in May. After a few weeks, when the attendance had increased, the Odd Fellows Hall in Clinton was secured, and a Christian Science Society was organized.
