What a grand religion Christian Science is! Its study is a never–ending source of inspiration. Its practice is the challenge of the day.
My own adventure in the study and practice of this practical religion began just after graduation from high school, when I was searching for a deeper meaning to my life. Two things that attracted me to investigate Christian Science were the radiance and confidence expressed by Christian Scientists and a rather remarkable and physical healing I saw effected by Christian Science treatment.
I asked questions about Christian Science, began to attend church services occasionally, and visited a Christian Science Reading Room, where I purchased a copy of the textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. I studied this book at night before going to sleep. Each time before I began to read, I would put everything else out of mind so as to be able to concentrate thoroughly on the author's message.
