Learning continuously more of God's goodness and love for each one of His children becomes increasingly important to me as a student of Christian Science. Day by day His protection and care encircle me, and I continue to learn this in new and enlightening ways.
Living in a city called crime–ridden and dangerous, I had been aware that I must do prayerful protective work to keep from accepting the fear that appeared to be in local thought. We learn in Christian Science that we can have nothing in our human experience that we do not first have in our thought.
I had worked late one evening at my office. Nine o' clock came, and I left, tired, somewhat disheveled, and not a little disgruntled. There was much resentment in my thought because I felt that my office head should have prevented a last–minute rush by more careful planning earlier in the week.
