"Now I know everything!"
A little child, puzzled about her concept of God and the devil, asked me for an explanation. Very briefly I gave her an answer from the standpoint of a student of Christian Science. The little girl listened intently and then threw up her arms in a spontaneous gesture of freedom and joy and said, "Now I know everything!"
Every student of Christian Science must have experienced this joy of illumination when the mystery and gloom of false concepts of the Scriptures have been pierced by the glorious revelation of this Christ Science. With each gleam of inspiration he must have echoed that lilt of joy: "Now I know everything!"
In the Scriptures we read, "For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known." I Cor. 13:12; These shafts of spiritual illumination come in ever greater frequency as we gain clearer views of God through the upward thrust of spirituality. False theology, misconceptions, and mental darkness fade out and finally disappear as mortality gives place to Spirit.
