Linda was troubled. Her brother, Bill, was always teasing her in a very mean way. Almost every Sunday she talked about Bill to her teacher in the Christian Science Sunday School.

"How can I make him be nice to me?" she asked this time.

Her teacher pointed to a verse in the Bible: "If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?" ^{I John 4:20;}
