Lean on God
A young TV star singing the popular song "Help" recently rendered, "Help me if you can, I'm feelin' down.... Won't you please, please help me?" The style was so convincing and pathetic that it caused at least one listener to feel the depth of the need mankind is feeling today.
In Psalms we read, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Ps. 46:1; If those seeking help who are troubled and in trouble would turn to God, they would indeed find help.
In Science and Health Mrs. Eddy writes, "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings." Science and Health, Pref., p. vii; When one reads this sentence and thinks about the word "leaning," one sees the way to unity with God, "the sustaining infinite."
