Intelligence Conquers Inflation

Inflation is a source of concern to many in most Western countries today. People are faced with high prices, often accompanied by high taxes. Yet personal problems arising from inflation yield to an enlightened understanding of supply.

Although written centuries ago, the prophet Haggai's words can be applied to present inflation: "Now therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways. Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes." Hag. 1:5, 6; The need today is not only to earn more but also to avoid having our possessions consumed quickly.

One can measure up to any requirement through intelligence. The demands of inflation, like other erroneous claims, can be met in our own thinking. They will not be met by complaining about prices, ranting over high taxes, being mesmerized by what is transpiring around us. They can be met through a better understanding of substance and a wise utilization of the ideas furnished us by divine Mind.
