When first I opened a copy of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures...
When first I opened a copy of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy at page 468 and read "the scientific statement of being," I accepted completely the concept of a wholly spiritual man and, therefore, the impossibility of anything unlike good.
Part of this statement reads: "All is infinite Mind and its infinite manifestation, for God is All–in–all"; and again, "Spirit is God, and man is His image and likeness. Therefore man is not material; he is spiritual." I saw that since God, Spirit, is All–in–all, He knows nothing unlike Himself and therefore could never have sent the injuries, pain, and sickness that I had had for over seven years after my experience in an overturned ambulance. Reading through the night, I knew I had found the truth that sets men free and a real reason for existing.
